This has been an incredibly busy and exciting summer.
Earlier in the year I appeared on Long Lost Family’s Foundling Special: Born Without Trace. This has generated many enquiries and consequently I have provided answers for foundlings and those with a family mystery to solve using DNA.
So many still don’t know what’s possible with this sort of research, and that DNA can finally give answers to questions about identity.
In October I will be speaking at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, about finding American serviceman fathers with DNA. So many are concerned that they don’t have a name for their father, and MUST have station rosters and his unit details first.
In almost every case DNA will lead to answers ahead of any paper records; testing at AncestryDNA often leads to a WW2 American serviceman father being identified within hours.
